King & Wood Mallesons - Spring & Summer Vacation Schemes

Overview Each year we run three vacation schemes; one in the Spring and two schemes in the Summer. Each are two weeks in length. During the scheme, you will spend time in two different fee earning departments sitting with an associate or partner, getting involved in day -to-day work in the firm. In addition, you will have talks and seminars on all our different practice areas giving you an insight into the kind of work that our lawyers get involved with. You will have plenty of time to socialise with the other students on the scheme as well as our trainee solicitors through informal lunches, evening activities and departmental socials. During the scheme, you will be allocated a trainee buddy who will be there to support and guide you throughout the scheme and answer any questions you may have. At the end of the scheme, you will have the opportunity to be assessed for a training contract which takes the form of a case study interview with two of our recruitment partners.
