linklaters You can view Linklaters' profile in full here. Key dates Schemes will run between 15 - 16 March 2016 and 12 - 13 April 2016. Deadline: 12 February 2016 Overview This two-day insight programme is a unique opportunity for first-year undergraduates studying any degree discipline at UK and Irish universities. Pathfinder is designed to give you a real insight into what it’s like to work at a leading global law firm, while also equipping you with the skills and guidance needed to take the next step and apply for vacation schemes. For those studying for a four-year undergraduate degree, applications should be made in the second year of study. On your first day, you will attend a range of workshops to develop your team-working and networking skills, as well as your commercial thinking. You will receive an introduction to our firm, showing you what makes us stand out from other law firms. After an overview of the recruitment process, complete with hints and tips from the Graduate Recruitment Team, you will get to know your Pathfinder colleagues on a more informal basis at an evening social event. The second day is made up of shadowing sessions, where you will sit with a trainee or associate and observe work and life in our market-leading practice areas. These sessions will prove invaluable as you decide whether a career in law at Linklaters is right for you. You will also receive a ‘personal impact’ master-class. This workshop will equip you with all the necessary skills to be able to stand out from the crowd – a crucial skill when it comes to applying for vacation schemes. The scheme is designed to put you in the best possible place to make a Summer Vacation Scheme application. Many of our Pathfinder students have gone on to accept training contracts with us. Applications are now closed
