Each year we look for high-achieving first year law students who would like to represent us on campus for the following year. As our campus ambassador, you will work closely with our graduate recruitment marketing team to help facilitate the marketing events which the firm has planned for the 2016/17 academic year. Letting students know about us, our events and our opportunities. Your role will cover everything from helping to plan and publicise events to providing insights, ideas and student feedback. As a campus ambassador, you will be well placed to introduce us to talented undergraduates, and you will be able to devise refreshingly different ways for us to talk about who we are, what we do and what we offer our trainees. In return, you will receive £600, along with all the training and support you need. You will get to better understand how a global law firm works whilst demonstrating your personality, drive and creativity. On successful completion of your campus ambassador role, you will also have the opportunity of a place on our summer 2017 vacation scheme. Your allowance and place on the vacation scheme are subject to you completing fully the requirements of the role as outlined in the job specification, and successfully passing your first year exams. You may be required to stand down from your campus ambassador role should you be unable to attend the vacation scheme. We are ideally looking for first year law students with strong academic achievement aiming to achieve a good 2:1 (or equivalent), outstanding communication skills and proven ability for organising events. You should also have an interest in global law firms and working in the City and have aspirations to qualify as a solicitor at a firm like Hogan Lovells. You will also have lots of initiative and a can-do attitude. We are recruiting 2016/17 campus ambassadors from Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Durham, KCL, LSE, Manchester, Nottingham, Oxford, UCL, Warwick and York universities. Assessment days are being held between April and July 2016 in our offices. Applications for the 2016/17 campus ambassador programme will open on 1 October 2015 and applications will close on 11 March 2016.
