The Laws of the Game competition

Norton Rose Fulbright and Harlequins rugby club have teamed up for an exciting opportunity: The Laws of the Game Competition. 

Their partnership, spanning over 10 years, is built around the pillars of quality, unity and integrity, values which unite both organisations. But what is it that makes them a truly great pairing?

To be in with a chance of winning a week of work experience at Norton Rose Fulbright's London office and an unforgettable experience at the Stoop, the home of Harlequins, entrants must answer the following question: 

What do a premiership rugby team and a global law firm have in common?

Participants must be in teams consisting of a minimum of three and a maximum of four members. One member of each team must be studying a non-legal subject. All entrants must be undergraduates at a UK university. Only one entry per eligible team may be submitted.

Teams must submit their answer either through a video (no more than 240 seconds) or in a 300 word written answer. You will also need to send a short team summary, no more than 200 words, detailing who you are.

The top five teams will be invited to the final which will be held at the Norton Rose Fulbright London office on Friday 22 Februrary 2019.

Each member of the winning team will win a work experience placement at Norton Rose Fulbright, and each member of the top three teams will win a trip to the home of Harlequins at the Stoop on Friday 12 April 2019. The most sporting team on the day will win some Harlequins merchandise. So, in short, the prizes will give you first-hand experience of life at the firm's practice, and an insight into the work of one of their clients.
