Future lawyers sought for F-LEX's Commercial Development Scheme

F-LEX is working in the burgeoning field of legal tech. We provide resourcing solutions for law firms and in-house counsel, servicing clients ranging from magic circle firms to in-house legal teams. After explosive growth over the past two years, we are looking for more F-LEX associates to join our Commercial Development Scheme. 

About the scheme:

The Commercial Development Scheme is a program for future lawyers, either with or without training contracts, who are looking to hone their commercial skills before they start their legal careers. We require full time commitment for a minimum of 4 months.

As a F-LEX associate, you will receive unparalleled commercial exposure to all aspects of a successful legal tech start-up business. Our F-LEX associates are trained by our operations, sales, commercial and finance teams. The F-LEX associates are at the forefront of our company and are integral to the entire lifecycle of the business. You’ll be supporting our growth across the UK and shaping the future direction of the company, while gaining fantastic practical experience to build your CV and prepare you for your future careers.

We firmly believe that the F-LEX associates are the best ambassadors for our company, and so you’ll be involved in multiple areas of the business: coordinating new client requests and managing ongoing projects, attending sales meetings, negotiating legal documents, meeting new paralegals and directly corresponding with clients.

Our aim is that you’ll finish the Commercial Development Scheme with both the skills and confidence to flourish in your forthcoming legal or professional career.

Qualifications and skills

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• LLB, GDL or LPC
• The ability to multitask
• Fantastic organisational skills
• Be efficient and adaptable
• Demonstrate attention to detail while adhering to client deadlines
• Enjoys meeting people
• Adept at finding solutions
• A desire to learn and get stuck in

If you have any experience in the following then this is a plus:

• Recruitment or interviewing 
• Project management 
• Marketing and social media in a professional context
• Sales
• Finance
