F-LEX is an online platform, designed to connect pre-approved law students to law firms and general counsel for a flexible, on demand service. We are a rapidly growing legal technology start-up, already operating in London and Manchester, with plans to establish a new hub in Bristol very soon, along with the opening up of our service to qualified junior lawyers, which is where we need you!

We are based in a vibrant co-working space, surrounded by a community of diverse start-up and established businesses. Our office is minutes from London Bridge, with the food stalls of Borough Market and restaurants along Bermondsey Street within easy walking distance for lunch.

We have a range of very impressive clients, from Magic Circle firms to FTSE100 in house legal teams and are now looking for a Senior Legal Recruiter to join us to support our new offering of flexible junior lawyers, on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a position for someone who loves to connect with people, exhibits outstanding judgment and professionalism, possesses excellent analytical skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Main Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and finding candidates and growing our pool of junior lawyers
  • Conducting preliminary interviews, and using your professional judgement in evaluation our lawyer candidates
  • Being the main point of contact with candidates and ensuring that we are super responsive
  • Evaluating client demand in partnership with our Client Services team and managing our hiring strategy to ensure a pipeline of candidates
  • Liaising with clients over requests for lawyers and building a good relationship with them
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of recruitment issues and trends in the legal industry
  • Collaborate with our tech team to ensure we are developing our technology to help make our candidates and clients have a great service.
  • Assist with F-LEX’s internal recruitment hires

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 2+ years experience within the interim market
  • At least 5 years’ experience within a recruiting or human resources function
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft, Excel and Powerpoint and not afraid of learning to use our tech enabled platform
  • Excellent communicator and enjoys building and maintaining relationships
  • Fantastic organisational skills
  • High levels of self-motivation, commitment and resilience
  • Adept at finding solutions
