F-LEX is an online platform, designed to connect pre-approved law students to law firms and general counsel for a flexible, on-demand service. We are a rapidly growing legal technology start-up, already operating in London and Manchester, with plans for expansion to other UK hubs. We have a range of very impressive clients, from Magic Circle firms to FTSE100 in-house legal teams and are now looking for someone to lead our Manchester office.
This is a position for someone who is sales-oriented and driven, with a natural flair for networking and relationship building. You will have outstanding judgement and professionalism, possessing excellent analytical skills and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and promote the culture of the company whilst growing existing business and generating new business through strong relationship building
- Maximise both brand visibility and sales volumes in the region, with a clear strategy for sales and marketing
- Run your own P&L for Manchester and be a key player in the growing of our business
- Evaluating client demand in partnership with our Client Services team and managing our hiring strategy to ensure a pipeline of candidates
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of recruitment issues and trends in the legal industry
- Collaborate with our tech team to ensure we are developing our technology to help make our candidates and clients have a great service
- Assist with F-LEX’s internal recruitment hires in Manchester
Skills and Qualifications
- Ideally, you will be a former lawyer OR will have some experience in the legal sector
- You will have a demonstrable track record of success in converting new sales through business development activities and expanding sales with existing clients through effective account management
- You will be able to clearly demonstrate market segmentation and a strategic approach
- Be able to work autonomously, with a self-driven work ethic
- Ability to interact and operate with all levels of the business
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and in the written word
- Adept at finding solutions
- Highly proficient with Microsoft, Excel and Powerpoint and not afraid of learning to use our tech enabled platform
