Win a week of work experience with some of the UK's leading law firms

The University of Law (ULaw) has partnered with top law firms and businesses across the country to help aspiring lawyers and business professionals gain much needed work experience via Instagram.

Enter ULaw’s Instagram competition for your chance to win a week of work experience with some of the UK's leading law firms in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London, Manchester, Nottingham and Reading. Successful entrants will also recieve £150 to go towards travel and food expenses.

Partnering firms include Gateley, the first UK full-service firm to be listed on the stock market in 2015, who will be offering three placements in Reading, Nottingham and Birmingham. Meanwhile, students have the chance to shadow an equity partner and spend time with trainees in Thrings’ Bristol office. Placements in Shoosmiths’ Leeds office and in Fletchers’ Manchester personal injury and medical negligence team are also up for grabs.

How to enter:

• Post a video (no longer than 30 seconds) or photo on Instagram
• Add a caption about who inspires your careers goals and why
• Hashtag #Uinspire and the desired city locations for the work experience, for example #Bristol
• Tag @u_law in your photo or video, and follow ULaw on Instagram
• Complete this short survey: surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ulawcomp

This competition round closes on Friday 29 November.

Five successful entries per university campus, chosen by ULaw's student recruitment team, will then be asked to take part in a telephone interview, and the winner will be announced on Friday 13 December.
