Employment lawyer sought for the Legal Services Directorate of Avon and Somerset Constabulary

The Legal Services Directorate of Avon and Somerset Constabulary is excited to be offering an ambitious and motivated individual, who has a real interest in pursuing a career in police law, the opportunity to work predominantly as an employment specialist within the force.

You will work as part of a team providing a comprehensive range of legal advice and representation to the Chief Constable but in the main you will deal with contentious and non-contentious matters across the full spectrum of employment law. You will also have the opportunity to become involved in other areas within the legal department and full training will be provided.

To be successful in this role you must have employment law experience and we are seeking applicants with one to five years post qualification experience.

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)

Salary:  £33,732 – £36,369 Level 1; or £37,440 – £40,698 Level 2 (Level and salary subject to experience)
